Introduction
The ASSI Advanced Interviewing Techniques course is a two day face to face course designed to further develop the interview skills of any person who may be required to obtain information from third parties This unique and effective course has been delivered to companies and agencies not only across Australia but around the world including India, China, Malaysia and Indonesia.
The aim of this practical course is to demonstrate the most effective way to obtain all the relevant facts and details in an interview situation, and how to present those facts in a way that tells the story in a proper and thorough chronological order.
Whether you are obtaining a typed statement, recording an interview or you are simply required to obtain information from another person, this course will show you proven techniques which will allow you to walk away from the interview knowing that you have every detail that you will need to make informed decisions or prepare a report.
The key to a successful interview is to ask the right questions in the right manner at the right time and then exhaust all information that comes from the questions you have asked. We explore what questions to ask, when to ask them, why to ask them and how to ask them.
We also cover the importance of commencing an interview in the correct manner and then exhausting each and every piece of evidence or line of inquiry.

Nationally Accredited Training
This course contains nationally accredited academic units from the Certificate III in Investigative Services training course and a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit CPPSEC 3033A Conduct Interviews and Take Statements will be awarded to each participant who successfully completes the course.
Venue
The training is held in one of our training rooms located in the CBD of each capital cities. If you require this training to be conducted overseas or at your location or company headquarters then we will negotiate a special deal for you.
Costs
The cost of the two day course is $595.00 per person and this includes morning and afternoon tea but does not include lunch. Lunch can be provided at additional cost.
