Certification and Cost
5. Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be eligible for the award of an Australian Nationally accredited Statement of Attainment for the following units from the PRS30303 Certificate III in Investigative Services:
- PRSIS304 Conduct Surveillance
- PRSIS305 Organise and Operate a Surveillance Vehicle
- PRSSO315 Store and Protect Information
- PRSIS310 Use and Maintain Operational Equipment
Participants will also be awarded a Certificate of Completion of ASSI's Advanced Surveillance Course which is a highly desirable certification within the surveillance industry in both Australia and other overseas locations.
6. Cost
The total cost per participant is $995.00 (nil GST) with a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 persons per course. As the course is a nationally recognised course, no GST is payable.
The cost of the course is all inclusive except for accommodation, meals and travel expenses.
All meals will be taken at the course participant's expense. It should be noted that due to the pace at which the course runs, meal breaks cannot be guaranteed and are usually taken on a "when you can" basis.
Costs include:
- Training/Briefing/Operational Premises (Australia)
- Supply of Vehicles (including fuel) (within Australia)
- Radio Communications (within Australia)
- Issue of Statement of Attainment and Certificate
Some video and camera equipment will be available for use however it is recommended that course participants bring a video camera if possible.
